At Kountry Knits & Sewing Centre, we've been proudly serving our customers for over 40 years. What started as a small business built from a passion for knitting has grown into a full-service shop offering a wide range of products, classes, and support for fellow knitters and sewers. While a lot has changed over the years, our focus on great service and sharing our love for the craft remains the same.
A Rewarding Vocation
For me, the most rewarding aspect of owning Kountry Knits & Sewing Centre is the interaction with my customers. It is a joy to teach others how to perform a new craft, and I’ve noticed that the under-30 generation is very enthusiastic about learning these skills. I am pleased to have many regular customers that I have met through the shop, and it’s a lot of fun to meet new people and help them gain new skills.
Involved with the Community
Kountry Knits & Sewing Centre is involved with our community, proudly supporting the efforts of Support Blankets for Canada, as well as other local charities and organizations. We have a supply of knitted squares dropped off at the store and volunteers pick them up to create a blanket that is then donated to local organizations such as; Victim Services, Family First, and Fort Saskatchewan Hospital Auxiliary.
